Invasive red-eared slider turtles make their home in UCLA’s Botanical Garden

UCLA’s Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden on South Campus doesn’t just display plants from around the world - it also hosts a colony of red-eared slider turtles, a species native to the American south, but not to California.
