UCLA Opera production modernizes the 17th century Italian classic, "Giasone"
Love the one you’re with, or kill her to run off with your latest affair? “Giasone” is a comedic Venetian opera about love, sex, ultimate betrayal, murder and living happily ever after. Schoenberg Music Building will host the West Coast premiere of “Giasone” by Francisco Cavalli, directed by Peter Kazaras and conducted by Stephen Stubbs, starring Nick Zammit and Lauren Edwards as Jason.
